Cuthbertson Laird are one of the top instrument distributors in the UK. Established in February 1980, we now have three offices covering the United Kingdom and Ireland.

Our sales engineers regularly demonstrate, support and problem solve issues relating to use of high-end test equipment, including PQ analysers and thermal imaging cameras in the field. With over 30 years of experience to call upon in the sale and service of precision, high-quality equipment for the testing and maintenance of electrical, Industrial and process plant, we're only too happy to offer a complete advisory service to existing and potential customers.

Our staff are trained by the manufacturers and on many occasions have reported problems with new test equipment before the manufacturers themselves were aware of it.

We have many satisfied customers which include electrical contractors, electricity boards, power stations and large manufacturing plants. We are a registered supplier on the UK Utilities Vendor Database (UVDB). Our Number is 75084. As a company offering goods and/or services to the oil & gas industry sector we are also a Registered Supplier with First Point Assessment Limited, Supplier Number: 40804. Our quality system is BSI registered: BS EN ISO 9001 2000 FS 20815, our calibration laboratory in Scotland is also UKAS (NAMAS) registered.

Calibration.
Cuthbertson Laird Group have calibration labs in England, Scotland & Northern Ireland. Our Calibration Certificates are traceable to National Standards including UKAS. We have facilities for the calibration of Electrical, Temperature, Pressure, HVAC, Safety, Airflow, Torque and Dimensional Metrology test & measurement equipment. Approved Repair Centre status is held from leading manufacturers and products are repaired to manufacturers' standards using approved parts.

Hire Equipment.
We have a wide range of equipment including 17th edition and PAT testers, micro-ohmmeters, process calibrators, high voltage AC/DC test sets, HV insulation testers, battery load units and oil test sets.
